Who is Quadrant Group?

Why have I received a letter or other communication from Quadrant?
You have received a communication from Quadrant because a business you owe money to has come to us to assist them in the recovery of their debt from you.
When I call Quadrant why do you ask for my name and date of birth and other details?
Initially this is to ensure that we are actually talking to the correct person in order to protect your privacy. It is also important for us to have all your most recent address and contact details such as mobile phone number, email details, so that we can assist you with managing the payment of the outstanding debt.
What if I cannot pay the debt in full?
You need to contact Quadrant as soon as possible. Our staff will work with you offering various methods or solutions for you to pay the debt off. All of Quadrants’ staff are trained to listen to your concerns and will work closely with you to get a solution that is workable.
What if I need budget assistance?
Our Quadrant staff will be able to give you information on budget assistance. If you are on a benefit it would be helpful for you to call or arrange an appointment with your case manager. You could also refer to the following websites.
What should I do if I believe I do not owe the debt?
Please call Quadrant immediately and advise our staff why you think you do not owe the debt.
We work closely with our clients so we can verify payment history easily should you think you have already paid the debt so please contact us with payment details if that is the case. If you dispute the debt please call us and tell us clearly what the dispute is. Our staff can then work with you and our client to resolve the dispute.
Will the debt be listed on my credit file?
Quadrant do refer debts to the various credit reporting agencies to be listed as a credit default. The balance is updated when you make regular payments and also when it is paid in full. You can obtain a free copy of your credit file from the three credit bureaus operating in New Zealand via their websites:
